We have a S7 MPI driver. Will that not work for those units? There are many different ways to communicate between a HMI and a PLC. So whether the two will communicate depends on which protocols you want to use as well what drivers are in iX Developer.

We also have a SIMATIC S7 TCP/IP over ISO driver.

What protocols do you want to use to communicate to you SIMATIC units?

Hi;

There is Ethernet;

Typ of PLC: Siemens LOGO! 0BA7. There is a Siemens HMI that can be connect to this typ of PLC.

There are many different protocols that a PLC can use. You need to check with Siemens to see which protocols your PLC unit uses.

LOGO software is used to program PLC's and the HMI does not communicate to the LOGO programming software, but to the PLC.

The protocol they used is OP. I think Beijer used PG connection.

It is indeed a very new hardware.

Our developer tells me that our drivers do not natively support S7 PX or LOGO.

The Siemens ISO Ethernet has not been tested towards a Siemens Logo PLC.

Hello again,

we just recive from oure professional tester developer that Beijer work with latest Simatic LOGO version. We will send you some manual (GSD file,pdf ) becouse there must be some modifications on PLC side.

However
now created a much more serious problem, we can not break in communication with S7 200 and HMI (TxA series ) we are using driver for S7 200 PPI.

HMI: TxA
Used cables: Newest 6ES7901-3BF00-0XA0 ( from Siemens support is the same cable as older PC/PPI cable 6ES7 901-3BF00 ) and we use CAB108 ( connected pins 2,3,8 )

Where could be a problem. Perhaps nowhere is a GSD file, where it was already set S7 200 PLC and HMI Beijer ?
